Using LaiOrder
The terms between your cafe and Abelitie for the LaiOrder app and this website, in plain words.
Last updated
Who these terms are between
LaiOrder is made and sold by Abelitie (SSM 201503040841, IP0425426-T), Sitiawan, Perak, Malaysia. These terms apply to the business that installs or pays for LaiOrder (“you”, “your cafe”) and to anyone using this website. By installing, signing in to or paying for LaiOrder, you agree to them.
What LaiOrder is
LaiOrder is QR table ordering software. It runs on your cafe's Windows PC; your cashier and kitchen use tablets on your Wi‑Fi; your customers order from their own phones and pay at your counter. LaiOrder never takes or holds payments. What it doesn't do is listed on the home page, under What LaiOrder leaves to you.
The DEMO
The DEMO is free. It shows every screen with a sample cafe; nothing is saved and nothing is sent. It is for trying LaiOrder, not for real orders, and its receipts say so.
PAID
- PAID is RM100 a month, flat. There is no setup fee and no fee per order.
- For now you pay by bank transfer. Each payment adds one month to the date you're paid until (or to the day it arrives, if your plan had lapsed).
- One account covers one Studio PC and as many tablets as you like.
- If a month lapses, LaiOrder goes back to DEMO screens. Your records stay on your PC, untouched, and come back when you renew. You can stop at any time by not renewing.
- If the price changes, the new price applies from your next month after we tell you, never to a month you've already paid.
Staying connected
Your Studio PC checks in with laiorder.com every hour to confirm your plan. If it can't for 24 hours, LaiOrder stops taking orders until it reconnects; a banner warns you from 12 hours. Your customers' phones need the internet to reach your menu.
What your cafe looks after
- Your menu, prices, SST and service charge settings, and your receipt details. Ask your accountant to check a sample receipt before your first day.
- Taking the money, and checking a payment has arrived before tapping Payment received.
- Your PC, Wi‑Fi, tablets and internet, and keeping the USB backup drive plugged in.
- Your own obligations as a business, including tax, e‑invoicing and how you handle your customers' information.
What we look after
- Keeping LaiOrder working as described on this site, and fixing faults we're told about as soon as we reasonably can.
- Keeping the sign-in service running, and keeping what it stores to what our privacy page lists.
- Answering your questions on WhatsApp or email.
Using the software fairly
You get the right to use LaiOrder in your cafe while your plan is active; the software stays Abelitie's. Please don't copy, resell or share it, take it apart, or get around its licence checks. We may suspend an account that does, or that uses LaiOrder for anything unlawful.
Limits
We work hard to make LaiOrder reliable, but no software is perfect, and we can't promise it will never be interrupted. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses such as lost sales or profit, and our total responsibility for any claim is limited to what you paid us for LaiOrder in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits rights the law doesn't allow us to limit.
Law, changes and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. If we change them, we'll update this page and its date at the top, and tell paying cafes before a change that affects them takes effect. Questions: WhatsApp us or see the Contact page.
